LUCY URBANO
Lucy Urbano (she/her) is an actress and writer of white and Korean descent from Berkeley, CA. She has trained in acting at Oakland School for the Arts, Fontainebleau School of Acting, world renowned Alexander Techworks (with Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad), and UCLA's School of Theatre, Film, and Television - where she is also a member of the Playwriting Continuum. She started acting when she was four, and some favorite projects along the way include: Hamlet (Hamlet), Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (Roberta), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Maggie), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), and leads in short films Sweethart and Ghost of You - both coming soon! Her plays have been produced with many companies including Berkeley Rep and Playground SF, where she was a 2019 Writer’s Group participant. In 2020 she co-founded HIGHBALL Media, a multi-media production collective, where she recently produced and acted in a one-act she wrote, Cassiopeia8000.
